The situation

Advice about a home battery started with a conversation. Someone had to sit down with the customer, work out what their situation was and only then say which battery made sense. That happened by hand, one customer at a time.

What we built

A tool where a customer fills in their address and sees which home battery fits their situation. It connects to open data sources about the building, so the answer starts from the property itself instead of from a form the customer has to fill in.

The result

It replaces an advice conversation that used to happen by hand. A customer gets an answer without anyone having to sit down with them first.

Example scan with made-up details

A run-through of the home battery scan: the address is entered and the details about the property appear beside it, then usage with sliders, the wishes about the grid connection and where the battery goes, and the tool shows which home battery fits, what it saves and what it costs. After that a notification automatically goes to the customer and to the company.
